New Zealand’s most admired wine brand Villa Maria is hosting a once-in-a-lifetime film screening, in celebration of its partnership with BAFTA.


Held in an incredible London location, and alongside sampling of its delicious wines, Villa Maria is screening the 2019 BAFTA-winning film, Green Book.

With conversation firmly at the heart of Villa Maria’s success, the winery has been exploring the place conversation takes in our modern lives.  This exclusive screening event will delve into the far-reaching ability of cinema to provoke meaningful and impactful conversations and will include a unique #TalkingFilm discussion with CEO of BAFTA, Amanda Berry.

Enjoy canapes, traditional cinema treats and a glass of wine while you sit back and enjoy award-winning performances from Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen in Peter Farrelly’s true story of music and unlikely friendship in 1960’s America.

The screening will take place at the Hoxton Archeson on the 6th of November and doors will open at 6pm.

  1. The promotion is open to UK residents only aged 18 years and over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Villa Maria and BAFTA, its agents and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. No third-party entries.
  2. To participate, entrants must select the correct multiple choice answer featured in Absolutely London’s online post, between 5pm on the 15th October until 9am on the 4th of November. Entries after this time will not be counted.
  3. There will be one winner of the ‘Pop Up Cinema ticket giveaway’ competition to be chosen at random.

  6. In the event of any prize winner being uncontactable or failing to respond within 2 days, the promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate winner selected at the same time as the original.
