Brixton Village is the ultimate destination for London foodies to visit. Guests will find cuisines from Europe, Asia, India, Africa, America and the Caribbean all under one roof. Alongside the abundance of food stalls and eateries, there are a number of locally owned and independent shops selling a range of goods from charcuterie and cheese to traditional Chinese medicine.
On Saturday 31st, Brixton Village Is inviting Londoners for a day of good food and good music, with entertainment to be provided from The Handson Family and DJ Glade Marie. The cookout is being held by some of the Village’s best loved tenants, who will be serving up a range of dishes for guests to enjoy in the sunshine.
Visitors can enjoy dishes cooked up by Fish Wings & Tings, Jerk specialists Rudie’s Jerk Shack and BBQ specialists The Joint, amongst other Brixton Village residents and traders. Alongside the array of delicious food that will be on offer, a number of CBD infused drinks and high quality spirits will be available from sustainable drinks leaders The Natural Bar Company, who will be hosting live music throughout the month.
If you are free next weekend, The cookout promises to be a must-visit event for both food and music lovers alike, combining an array of delicious flavours and live music entertainment in a central location. Post event, guests should visit nearby Pop Brixton to explore a range of boutiques and bars.
