TIP 1
Hang on the biggest wall in the room, it creates a wow factor when you walk in. Just be sure to make sure it won’t jar with colours or artwork from adjoining rooms.

Don’t stress about old design rules. Whether you have a Scandi chic or Maximalist home, anything goes. Contemporary monochrome or ‘in your face’ colours look fantastic with both.

Enhance colour pops: Tie up your room design with your fabulous abstract by picking out colours from your existing sofa, cushions, rug or headboard. Be careful, though – don’t be too ‘matchy matchy’.

Size Matters. For jaw-dropping impact, your artwork should be three-quarters of the size of your wall. Still not sure? Stick a piece of cardboard on the wall cut to the size of the artwork you think you would need. Live with it for a few days and instinctively you will know if it is right.
