The Best Bond-Inspired Bottled Cocktails

Harvey Nichols Vesper Martini Cocktail, £35.00

The Vesper Martini was invented by author Ian Fleming for the first outing of his character James Bond in the 1953 novel Casino Royale. And yes, it’s become an absolute classic. This one by Harvey Nichols is handcrafted using Portobello Road Gin, Fair Vodka, Lillet Blanc, and a splash of zesty lemon oils. Serve ice-cold in a chilled Martini glass, and in true Bond style, “shaken, not stirred”. He would have also approved of their bottled Negroni.

Fortnum & Mason Robin Roy, £28.50

Created in 1894 by a bartender at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, this is one classy cocktail. It’s only natural then, that Fortnum’s offers its version that’s been exclusively blended just three miles from the famous Piccadilly store. Expect sweet vermouth, bitters and their very own English Single Malt Whisky, and the result? Well, there’s notes of vanilla, toffee and red fruits notes. Serve chilled in a classic liqueur glass with a maraschino cherry in a rocks glass.

Three Sheets Margarita, £29.00

Brought to you by an award-winning neighbourhood cocktail bar is the Three Sheets classic Margarita (and a whole host of other bottled drinkies). There’s a mix of fine tequila, sharp lime, salt, and orange to add a hint of sweetness. It’s batched, bottled and ready to drink from Three Sheets London, or order online and the bottles of joy will be delivered straight to your door.
