Founder of Heartcore, Jess Schuring, has been a pioneer of the global boutique fitness craze since its inception. In a decade spent between Los Angeles and London, Jess has shaped some of Hollywood’s most recognisable bodies while shifting the UK fitness landscape with the roll-out of her hugely popular Heartcore Fitness studios. The St John’s Wood branch of the brand has been built within the shell of a church, resulting in one of the most spacious, light-filled workout spaces you’ll find in London.

Offering everything from pilates and spin to HITT and TRX, Core Collective is the eclectic fitness brand offering pay as you go workouts to well-heeled Kensington. Core Collective’s industrial chic interiors provide an edgy, art gallery-like ambience. The brand recently collaborated with painter Bradley Theodore for a series of brightly-coloured murals and canvases, which frame the chic, mis-matched furniture and dramatic spot lighting.

Created by renowned designer Tom Dixon, Agua Bathhouse & Spa is housed in the trendy Mondrian London hotel at Sea Containers. The spa offers six treatment rooms, including a couples’ and private thermal suite, nail and grooming lounge and separate male and female steam rooms. Inspired by old school Hollywood glamour, the space is shaped by curving walls and luminous corridors that embrace the theme of underwater tranquility. A dramatic sculpture adorns the entrance, reflecting Dixon’s penchant for white and copper.
