The Roof Deck Bar & Restaurant at Selfridges
Inspired by the cool Californian lifestyle, Roof Deck brings a taste of the American West Coast to the heart of Oxford Street. Proud Camden Rooftop Gardens
Enjoy the very best of British summertime in an idyllic, quintessentially English Garden. The roof terrace at Proud Camden has been transformed with full decking, a beautiful rockery and striking water feature. While away a hazy afternoon with some of the best acoustic live acts in the capital. Then dine from one of London’s most popular pop-ups, Burger Bear.
Pergola Paddington Central
This summer, Paddington becomes home to Pergola Paddington Central, the sister site to White City’s much-loved Pergola on the Roof. It will be West London’s largest alfresco drinking and dining destination with a seating area fitting 850 guests. Set over two floors, the venue fuses contemporary urban-design with lush green landscaping. DJs and live music will add to the relaxed festival feel, against a backdrop of the capital’s skyline. Aviary Rooftop Terrace
Aviary is London’s latest rooftop hotspot, standing ten floors above Finsbury Square. It offers breathtaking views of the capital’s iconic skyline, sensational cocktails and renowned DJs. Head here for Café Del Mar vibes.
Brixton Beach Rooftop
Inspired by vibrant Cuba, Brixton Beach Havana will transport guests to a lush and colourful paradise. Imagine a sun-kissed beach and palms swaying lazily in the breeze. All against a soundtrack of Cuban jazz and rolling waves. With a freshly made mojito in hand, you’ll forget you’re in the heart of Brixton Market.
This popular East London hangout has launched a new split-level rooftop terrace. Long been the destination for sun-worshippers, it now features a luxurious VIP section and new U-shaped bar. The new mezzanine area has its own bar and can be exclusively hired on any night of the week. The space will additionally house one of the the capital’s most impressive cinemas. Golden Bee has a tie-in with Universal Pictures so they can screen new releases as well as cult classics.
Opening May 25th, Skylight will be one of London’s most imaginative new summer rooftops. Themed around a British urban lawn club, the place combines bowels with beverages. Also on offer are multiple bars, three croquet lawns, street food stalls and some of the capital’s best views.
The team behind last year’s alfresco favourite #NotchLDN are again serving up some of the best rooftop vibes in town. The roof of 535 Oxford Street is transformed into Sisu – a utilitarian nature reserve. Here you can escape the bustle of the city in Scandinavian-inspired surrounds. The team have organised self-dispense cocktails and a greenhouse dining space, the RetrEat. Tuck into an international street food menu featuring miso aubergine tacos, and fried chicken waffles.
Rooftop bars really don’t come much better than Franks. It’s renowned as one of South London’s best places to party. It is the summertime alter ego of Rye Lane’s multi story car park and welcomes tribes of hipsters. Head here to knock back Campari with a spectacular view of St Paul’s just four miles north.
Madison boasts a Manhattan style restaurant with a superb selection from the grill. The Bar is a destination in its own right and a real social hub for post-work drinks. It delivers spectacular city views and a wide range of cocktails.
Gin Mare Rooftop Pop-Up
On 20th & 21st July, Gin Mare will whisk you away to a blissful Mediterranean retreat. It’s the ultimate rooftop pop-up for gin lovers. The event will overlook the river Thames, with one of the most panoramic views of the city of London. They will be serving a range of refreshing cocktails, including the classic Mare G&T with a slice of fresh mango. Also on offer will be a summer menu of fresh Mediterranean tapas and oysters dressed with Gin Mare.
