JABALI PRIVATE HOUSE AND JABALI RIDGE, TANZANIA

There’s a rumble in Ruaha, Tanzania’s second largest national park of heart-stopping landscapes and home to over 10% of the world’s lion population. A place for serious big cat action calls for some serious accommodation to match. Cue two new gems from Asilia Africa; Jabali Private House and Jabali Ridge. First up is Jabali Ridge, opening in September 2017 as the most stylish of safari camps. The project takes inspiration from the inspiring Ruaha landscape; baobabs, palms and rippling hills. The result is a stylish haven of sultry, earthy colours, open spaces and clean lines. It boasts a sun-soaked infinity pool and two enormous viewing decks that overlook the Mwagusi Sand River.

Jabali Private House is southern Tanzania’s first private house on the safari circuit. Built around three magnificent baobab trees, the house is available only for exclusive bookings. Sleeping up to six, the house offers a completely unrivalled experience for families or small groups of friends.
