The second annual Espresso Martini Fest from Mr Black returns to the capital with more coffee and more cocktails than before
Following the success of last year, Mr Black’s Espresso Martini Fest returns with more caffeine, more cocktails and more of the capital’s finest coffee connoisseurs. Taking place across London between 16-19 August, the four-day festival will see 100 of the city’s best cocktail bars pour £6 variations of the celebrated cocktail to be enjoyed by London’s discernable drinkers.
Alongside the eponymous serve, each bar will be rustling up a unique coffee-based cocktail that makes use of Mr Black coffee liqueur – ensuring that visitors will be spoilt for choice wherever they choose to go. On top of this, Belvedere will be the official vodka partner of the festival, bringing their unique expertise and insight to the party.
The latest addition to this year’s festivities comes in the form of Mr Black’s Church of Coffee pop-up space at The Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. This will be the caffeinated beating heart of the festival, welcoming Londoners in to enjoy a cocktail (or two) plus learn more about this famous serve. Expect food, music, liquor and creativity all in one space for a weekend filled with tasty drinks, Aussie food, masterclasses and workshops.
Mr Black’s Tom Baker makes up half of the boozy duo taking Australia’s coffee culture into the night. He says, “Our 2017 festival went off! Watching groups of coffee-loving humans walking from bar to bar in London, quaffing some of the world’s finest Espresso Martinis was really humbling and we’re excited to do it all again this year. 2018 will be bigger, better and boozier.”
Espresso Martini Fest takes place between 16-19 August. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased here.
