ANOTHER SPACE

another-spaceA haven in hectic Covent Garden, Another Space is a minimalist’s dream. Think fresh white walls, clean lines and greenery. Offering pay-as-you-go yoga classes (as well as cycle and HIIT), they take the soundtrack very seriously with yoga playlists curated by London DJ and yoga instructor, Jessica Skye. The studios are spacious and the practice dynamic, with sequences that will up your heart rate and get the endorphins flowing. Lather yourself in Cowshed products and refuel at the Detox Kitchen café before heading back into the madness. Trust us when we say you’ll leave feeling like a new person.

BLOK LONDON

blokExposed brickwork, vaulted concrete ceilings and cast-iron pillars – this converted Victorian tram depot could be mistaken for a craft brewery. Don’t let the bar fool you, though; it serves bone broth not beer. Yes, really. Situated in Clapton, head to BLOK for dynamic classes that are sure to stretch you out as well as get you sweaty. Plus, as well as offering yoga and exercise classes, the studio is also an evolving exhibition space displaying local artists’ work.

CHROMAYOGA

chromaA nifty, novel and yet transformative new approach to yoga, ChromaYoga combines colour therapy, scent and sound with specially chosen yoga sequences. As a teacher leads the class, bold coloured light filters dictate the atmosphere of the room while essential oils fill the air. It looks good, smells good and feels good. What’s not to like? Based out of east London’s Redchurch Street, ChromaYoga launches in January, so the classes aren’t overrun…yet.

YOGASPHERE AT THE SHARD

Yogasphere run classes all over London but their Saturday-morning sessions at The Shard are something special. Practice takes place at the highest accessible point of The Shard, the open-air viewing platform on Level 72, and in the summer months is even open to the elements.
