Absolutely reviews the Hero Facial by Abigail James

Abigail James, often hailed as the ‘Queen of Skin’ runs her highly sought-after facial spa in the heart of Mayfair, inside the elegant and grand Beaumont Hotel. I am here for the 75 minute Hero Facial, which is tailored to those looking for a clear complexion and restored dermal health. I am greeted by Abigail herself and she shows me into the treatment room, which is dimly lit creating a sense of serenity and calmness.
Before the treatment Abigail and I thoroughly discuss my daily cleansing routine, diet, activity level and supplements to ensure she fully understands my skin and its history. The treatment begins with a triple cleanse accompanied by a double low-level peel. Abigail works in a cranberry enzyme mask followed by a blueberry peel with lactic acid. The result, soft skin to the touch.
She then prepares and applies a vitamin infusion tailored with specific actives to support acne and increase the production of cellular activity. I spend the last part of my treatment under the Dermalux LED light which focuses on diminishing my skins redness.
Lastly, Abigail massages in a calming mask for restoration and repair. She informs me that my skin is already looking clearer and softer and within a week, will be at its best potential. Abigail is full of knowledge and a true professional who delivers real results – a week later my skin has notably improved.
