As temperatures drop and winter sets in, migrate south of the city to Bermondsey this November and discover the unbelievably cold Oxley Gin, distilled at -5°C.
Cold distilled gin, Oxley, has partnered with bars across SE1 to chill down cocktails and freeze flavour with a series of limited-edition menus and events throughout November. From one of the world’s favourite cocktails, the citrus-fresh Gimlet, to insta-worthy botanical ice blocks, you can experience the transformative effect of cold on flavour.
Harbouring an unquenchable thirst for innovation, Oxley has set out to change the world of gin as we know it. With nature as their muse, and flavour as their cause, it took eight years of experimentation to perfect this gin. Bursting with frozen fresh citrus peel, including oranges, lemons and grapefruit, it has a bright, crisp and fresh flavour that is truly unique.
The dedicated food and gin-pairing menu at Garrison, complete with icy accents, is set to entice SE1’s legion of gastronomic gurus with delicious dishes, two expertly crafted Oxley cocktails, and a classic G&T to enjoy. A further culinary extravaganza is taking place at community Japanese restaurant Hakata’s basement Izakaya Bar, which has paired three Oxley serves with their Ramen menu in perfect harmony.
Join the quest for flavour this November in Bermondsey, as Chapter 72 hosts the ultimate gin masterclass where a carefully designed menu of gin cocktails will bring to life the flavour of Oxley’s sippably smooth spirit.
For a truly glacial experience, on the final three Fridays of the month, Bermondsey Bar and Kitchen will showcase beautifully designed ice blocks filled with Oxley’s unique blend of fresh botanicals, highlighting the sub-zero temperatures and flavours of the bar’s limited edition, Oxley Colada and Strawberry Gimlet frozen cocktail – a touch of frost.
Chilled out Jazz fans looking to samples nature’s freshness should head down to Bermondsey Arts Club where they can enjoy smooth sounds alongside the expertly curated Oxley gin cocktail menu. Whilst only down the road, local stalwart Pique-Nique is serving Oxley G&Ts and Oxley and Gentian White Negroni – made by the resident team of creative bartenders – that brings out each of the 14 botanicals present in Oxley.
