International Coffee Day has crept round again and this year it once again falls the day before London Cocktail Week gets into full swing. This year it seems the worlds of coffee and cocktails are merging even closer than before, so to celebrate we’ve found the perfect coffee cocktail for any taste.

1924 Coffee Cocktail

Calooh Callay

A quirky cocktail bar famed across London for serving up some of the capital’s most exceptional concoctions, Calooh Callay is a must-visit for anyone with a taste for fine spirits. The 1924 makes use of artisanal coffee liqueur, Mr Black, for a punchy and delectable cocktail that will have you smiling from ear to ear.

Courvoisier Espresso Martini

Hush

The Espresso Martini continues to dominate cocktail menus the city over – with good reason! – and this twist is the latest version to grace the bar-top. Switching out vodka for Courvoisier VSOP creates a decadent and luxurious take on one of London’s most famous cocktail exports. And to drink in the surroundings of Hush’s sumptuous interior is a real coffee cocktail treat.

Avellana Frijoles

Coya

The talented bartenders over at Coya know a thing or two about creating exceptional drinks and the Avellana Frijoles is definitely one to shout about. A heady mix of Bacardi Carta Blanca, fresh Espresso, Frangelico and Patron Café ensures a delectable cocktail with a healthy coffee kick.

Single Origin Coffee Negroni

Caravan King’s Cross

Caravan Coffee Roasters have been making a name for themselves with exceptional speciality coffee ever since they started roasting back in 2010. They’ve taken some of that coffee celebrity and turned it into must-drink cocktails such as the Coffee Negroni made with Caravan Coffee Roasters home-made sugar syrup. This is a twist on a classic Negroni that no coffee lover should miss out on.

Hot Flat White Russian

Shoreditch Grind

Flat Whites and White Russians may not typically share much in common bar their name but the clever bartenders over at Shoreditch Grind have fixed that for good – rustling up the Hot Flat White Russian for coffee lovers and cocktail aficionados alike to indulge in. If you enjoy your drinks creamy and rich then this coffee cocktail is the one for you.
