Last week saw multi- award winning actor, Bill Nighy switch on the Christmas lights at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. The event took place as part of the Centre’s Twinkle of Christmas party on 1st December. This magical evening is now in its seventh year and is highly anticipated by celebrities, fashion designers and high profile stylists alike. A glamorous crowd was out in full force to welcome Nighy last week.Every feature contributed towards an Enchanted Forest theme. Upon entering the venue, crowds were greeted by Silver Birch, Scots Pine, Rowan trees and a 7ft fairytale story book sculpture that made up the ultimate wintery kingdom. Guests were joined by towering 6.5ft statues of extraordinary woodland creatures such as Hugo the Hedgehog, Felix the Fox, Stamford the Squirrel, among others, who worked to transform the venue into their natural dwelling. The centerpiece was a breathtaking canopy of twinkling lights, attached to frosty branches, that cascaded with captivating elegance throughout the centre of the dome. There was an enjoyable selection of seasonal cocktails, as well as live performances from Urban Voices Collective and Jack Pack who maintained the sparkling party atmosphere.

This set up of unforgettable beauty is available to view until 23rd December 2017, so don’t miss it.
