Introducing The Nude London: the emerging RTW brand that should be on your radar

Founded by life-long friends, Angelina and Julia, their brand is all about combining beautiful fabrics with feminine cuts. From their feather-light chiffon dresses to their flower-print blouses with interesting detailing such as oversized sleeves and gatherings, you’ll be wanting to wear their collection all summer long.
When did you decide to start The Nude London?
A few years ago we were both looking for that perfect dress and we couldn’t find it anywhere, so we decided to make one. At the moment it seems that the fashion industry is going in so many different directions, but we always loved wearing dresses and being feminine.
What is is like working with your best friend?
It’s great working with your best friend – we just understand each other from half a word or a look! One of us will start a sentence, and the other one will finish it. We have very similar tastes and it is amazing to be on the same page when it comes to designing. We also share a vision as to where we want to take the brand.
How would you describe The Nude London in three words?
Feminine, elegant and stylish.
Where did you train?
Julia: King’s College, Queens Mary University, ESMOD Paris. Angelina: Moscow State University and Waseda University, Japan.
Where do you find your inspiration?
We primarily find our inspiration from travelling, we love London, Paris and Tokyo and all the different styles there – it’s both diverse and beautiful. Also, another source is alll the strong women that we meet and are surrounded by on a daily basis.
Who would you love to dress?
It has to be Vanessa Paradis and Lily-Rose Depp.
