In August 2020, restaurants across the country offered discounts to diners as part of the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme. The plan encouraged the public to return to eateries as lockdown eased by offering a 50% discount – up to £10 per head – on their food and drink orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays throughout the month. The scheme was so successful that many restaurants have extended the discount for September. Absolutely London has rounded up some of the best London restaurants extending their Eat Out to Help Out offers for another month.
Eat Out to Help Out Restaurants in London: Extensions for September
Shack-Fuyu
Soho izakaya-style restaurant Shack-Fuyu is extending its Eat Out To Help Out offer throughout the month of September. Diners can enjoy 50% off Japanese small plates, bao buns and sushi and more from Monday to Wednesday. The Korean fried chicken is a must-try, and don’t miss out on the Kinako French toast with soft-serve ice cream for dessert.

Oxo Tower Restaurant and Brasserie
With picturesque views of London’s southbank, Oxo Tower Restaurant and Brasserie is a stunning choice for a midweek meal. Visitors who order two or more courses from the à la carte or tasting menu will get a 50% discount (up to £10 per head) from Monday to Wednesday during September. Remember to book in advance.

Zuaya
Kensington restaurant Zuaya is continuing to offer £10 off per head this September. Immerse yourself into a subterranean rainforest and experience the lively flavours of Latin America by way of delicious sharing plates, from tuna and avocado tartar to Argentinian sirloin with chimichurri. While alcoholic drinks aren’t included in the discount, Zuaya’s cocktails are a must-try too.
Sea Containers London
With spectacular views over the Thames, Sea Containers London is the place to be to experience luxury for less this month. The restaurant will be offering up to £10 off food and soft drinks per head on Wednesdays throughout September. For those that want to dine al fresco, the outdoor terrace is decked out with tropical foliage, succulents and terrariums plus blankets and heaters for when it gets chilly during the evening.
Zelman Meats
Zelman Meats Harvey Nichols will be offering its Wagyu Burger (6oz wagyu patty, with cheddar cheese, beef bacon, pickles and crispy onions) with chips for just £10. Available all day from Monday to Wednesday, meat lovers can take advantage of this deal throughout September.
Cinnamon Bazaar
Cinnamon Bazaar has two unique deals happening this September. The first is Unlimited Afternoon Tea, an Indian-inspired afternoon tea where guests can order as much as they like. Dishes include a Kolkata fish finger sandwich with tomato chutney cooked in turmeric, chilli and mustard oil, and pistachio cake with rose meringue and steamed Bengali yoghurt with mango curd. Diners can enjoy chaat and chai for just £15 per person after the £10 discount from Monday to Sunday, 12-5pm. To book, visit the website and quote ‘Chaat-Chai & Bazaar’. Cinnamon Bazaar are also serving an opulent nine course Bib-Gourmand sharing menu for just £25 per person. It’s available at all times from Monday-Sunday. Ombra
Hackney canalside restaurant Ombra serves delicious pasta, natural wines and Italian spritzes, and with both an indoor area and outdoor terrace, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy the last of the summer sun. During September, Ombra will be knocking up to £10 off per head on Mondays at dinner, and Tuesday and Wednesday at lunch and dinner.

The Wigmore
Situated in luxury hotel The Langham, The Wigmore is a traditional British tavern with a twist. With a menu overseen by Michel Roux Jr, dishes are quintessential pub classics with extra elegance and guests can enjoy 50% off food and soft drinks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this month.
Arabica
Arabica has sites in Borough Market and King’s Cross, and both have confirmed they will be extending their Eat Out To Help Out offer. Serving Middle Eastern dishes from hot meze to charcoal grills, the restaurant will be fronting the costs of the 50% discount that visitors can benefit from in September.
Kahani
Indian restaurant Kahani are continuing to offer Eat Out to Help Out throughout the month of September from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Located in the heart of Chelsea, the fine dining establishment combines the finest seasonal British ingredients with heady Indian spices to create delicious dishes made to share with family and friends.

You have probably seen By Chloe’s pink neon sign and drool-inducing burgers on your Instagram feed, but if not, By Chloe is the stylish spot for vegan junk food. With four branches in London, the diverse menu consists of plant-based burgers, pasta, brunch dishes and even vegan ‘fish’ and chips as well as non-dairy frozen desserts and sweet treats. Hot Stone
Following a sell-out August, Japanese restaurant Hot Stone has extended its Eat Out to Help Out offering. The Chapel Market favourite will knock 50% off evening food bills every Tuesday to Sunday throughout September for groups of four or less. Diners can tuck into the eatery’s signature Ishiyaki menu, featuring the ancient Japanese art of cooking on a searing-hot stones. Expect razor-sharp maki rolls, award winning new-style sushi, and delicious hot dishes.
Flesh & Buns
Flesh & Buns has not only extended Eat Out To Help Out throughout September, but it’s also been extended it by an extra day, so you can enjoy up to £10 off per head Monday to Thursday. Serving the likes of poke bowls, ceviche, sashimi, tiraditos and of course, steamed buns, Flesh & Buns specialises in Nikkei food which merges Peruvian and Japanese cuisines.
Riding House Café
Make the most of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme with Riding House Café’s £10 tasting menu. The 6-course meal includes dishes such as black quinoa and mango salad, trued mac and cheese, and côte de boeuf. There is no better – or cheaper – way to get a taste of Fitzrovia’s bustling New York-style Brasserie.
Coya
Take your taste buds on a tour of Peru with Coya. The Mayfair restaurant specialises in bringing the fresh flavours of Latin America to the heart of London by way of delicious exotic dishes. Designed to transport diners from Southwark to more exotic climates, the al-fresco seating area is the ideal spot for laid-back lunches and evenings with friends and family. Their summer feasting menu features small Tel Aviv inspired dishes that are perfect for sharing with others.
Madera at Treehouse Hotel London
Treehouse London’s Cali-Mexican restaurant Madera is continuing to offer discount meals every Tuesday and Wednesday. The rooftop eatery focuses on Latin American dishes infused with powerful flavour combinations. With sweeping views across London’s skyline, it is the perfect place to while away a September evening whilst dining on great food with friends.
Brindisa
For a taste of Spain this September, visit one of the capital’s Brindisa restaurants. These bustling diners found in several locations including London Bridge and Soho offer the finest in Mediterranean Cuisine.
