MAITRE CHOUX
You’ll know Maitre Choux as the chic pâtisserie whose rainbow-hued éclairs dominate Instagram accounts. Their light pastry treats make for the perfect gift box. With Michelin-starred pastry chef Joakim Prat hand-crafting each creation, they’re guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning of taste buds.
PEARL & GROVE
Pearl & Groove deliver sweet treats with a twist. Appeasing cravings in the healthiest of ways, ground almonds are used instead of regular flour and every creation is gluten free.
ORÉE
Crafted breads, freshly baked viennoiserie and an excellent range of patisserie is on offer at this fancy Chelsea outpost. Orée also caters for the health conscious and gluten-free. Pop in for a croissant, scone or dainty cannelé filled with creamy custard; all of which are baked daily on site.
MAISON KAYSER
French baker Eric Kayser opened his first London outpost in January 2017. The new bakery, restaurant and patisserie will plant roots in Baker Street, where breads will be created of artisanal standard and Sourdoughs made from natural sources.
RUBYS OF LONDON
With the rise veganism on a steady incline, Rubys is one step ahead of the culinary crowds with their offering of artisan vegan patisserie. They have a mouth-watering selection to get stuck into, including cake, cupcakes and doughnuts. They also specialise in products free from wheat, gluten and sugars for the health conscious looking for a pick-me-up.
CUTTER & SQUIDGE, SOHO
For those looking to curb their sweet tooth without an excessive indulgence, Cutter & Squidge is the go-to. It all began from the kitchen of two food-obsesses sisters in North West London. The pair are health conscious and limit the fat and sugar content to “just as much as needed to make something delicious”. They’re also home to the Biskie – a unique blend of biscuit, cookie and cake. Cutter & Squidge love to invent, so keep tuned for more weird and wonderful creations.
